ECONOMIZE
THE PRODUCTION - AVOID OCCUPATIONAL INJURIES
The
softly spring loaded, self-opening STIREX handle makes cutting so
much easier
Stirex
scissors have precision-made stainless steel blades. Handles
are of polypropylene with a separate spring band made of
flexible, unbreakable nylon.
The scissors are lightweight and adjusted to cut in any
position by a simple squeezing action. Cutting is
facilitated by a comfortable "whole hand grip".
Observe that no distal finger control is required. Pressure
is distributed evenly over the surface of the palm, limiting
stress on individual joints.
Requires no thumb opposition. |
Ideal handle/grip for whole hand operations.
Suitable for either left or right-handed user.

UNIQUE
STIREX FEATURE: The Stirex spring band is easily reversible.
After long or intensive use the spring band can be turned (shown
below) to regain full spring pressure.

a complete H-set for use during combined scissor and finger
operations.

Stirex
time and labor-saving hand tools for combined finger and
tool operations.
It is often both time and labor-saving if the tool can
remain in the hand at all times during repeated finger and
tool operations.
With the H-set including finger support and finger rings
19 & 23mm (0.75" & 0.90" dia) it is easy to compose a suitable handle grip for
combined operations. |

Cutting with
traditional scissors requires active use of thumb and
fingers in both opening and closing motions.
Particularly opening the scissors puts a lot of strain on
the finger joints during repeated use, which can lead to fatigue
and sometimes result in carpal tunnel syndrome or other hand
related injuries.

OTHER
VERSIONS OF HANDLES
S-95 blades are also available in different configurations
with larger, one or two, loop handles (see below images). These
handles are often used in the food industry, involving slippery
materials. Usually the operator is using the whole palm (as with
curved handles) with the thumb outside the upper loop and with the
two middle fingers inside the lower loop supported by the other
two fingers, one on each side of the loop.
The above scissors are not
inventory standard and therefore available on special order only.
