STIREX ANTISTATIC AND FLASH-OVER TESTED ESD-TOOLS
Stirex ESD-tools are supplied with a sophisticated handle system for safe and effective discharge of static electricity via the operators earthed wrist-band. 
The plastic handle grip (1) is chromium plated for perfect contact and effective discharge of static electricity. The steel front is safety insulated (2) to avoid an electrical shock if, by mistake, the tools are used in contact with live wires. The steel front (3) is connected to a 10 Mega ohms quality resistor (4), which is connected to the chromium layer with a rivet (5). 
All ESD-tools are carefully tested before supply from the Stirex factory. The resistance between the front and the chromium handle is measured to 10 Mega ohms+/- 1%. The insulation between the front and the chromium handle is tested with a tester using well over 1,250 V AC. as measuring tension.
